President Museveni Suspends Campaign Rallies In Lango Subregion

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) presidential flag bearer Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has suspended his campaigns in Kole,Lira and Lira City.

The NRM Secretary General, Richard Todwong in a press release the presidential campaign rallies that had been scheduled to take place n Monday October 6^th 2025 in Kole,Lira/Lira City has been adjusted.

“This is due to presidents need to attend to critical state duties on the set day. A new date shall be communicated to you soon”, says Todwong in a press release dated 4^th October 2025 to the NRM District and City Chairpersons of Kole,Lira District and Lira City.

During his campaign in the region,Museveni has attracted thousands of supporters who throng to his rallies to listen to him as he articulates the NRM manifesto.
