Halcyon High School – Main Campus in Soroti District has recorded exceptional performance in the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations, with management describing the results as “outstanding” and a reflection of the school’s commitment to quality education.
In a statement released by the school administration, the headteacher and staff congratulated parents and candidates for what they termed an exceedingly successful academic year. According to the results, several candidates emerged as top performers, demonstrating academic excellence across multiple subjects.
Leading the cohort is Cherotich Claire, who scored 6 As and 4 Bs, closely followed by Omule Azor Nowel with the same achievement of 6 As and 4 Bs. Egaru Cornelius Victor and Elasu Felix also excelled, each obtaining 5 As and 5 Bs.
School authorities noted that overall performance for the entire S.4 class was impressive, with candidates posting strong grades across the board.
Management attributed the success to a dedicated team of professional teachers, a supportive learning environment, and a consistent focus on both academic and moral development.
“We are committed to giving value for money through reliable and consistent academic results,” the administration stated. “Our goal is to provide affordable but quality education that shapes the destiny of learners both academically and morally.”
Following the strong results, the school has announced that admissions are still open, particularly for Senior One (S.1) and Senior Five (S.5) students seeking to join what the school describes as a winning academic team.
Halcyon High School, whose motto is “Peace – a key to quality education,” continues to position itself as a leading private secondary school in the region.
