President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has officially launched the NRM Manifesto 2026-2031.

The launch marks the beginning of the campaign period, with the President set to officially commence his nationwide campaign trail in Luweero on Tuesday, 29th September.

This year’s campaign will run under the theme *“Protecting Our Gains,” * underscoring the President’s commitment to consolidating the achievements registered over the years, safeguarding national progress, and steering the country towards greater social and economic transformation.

The Manifesto is anchored on seven key areas of focus:

*Peace* – ensuring stability and national security as a foundation for progress.

*Development* – driving infrastructure and industrial growth.

*Wealth* – empowering citizens to create and sustain household incomes.

*Services* – improving access to quality health, education, and social services.

*ICT* – harnessing technology and innovation for national advancement.

*Market* – expanding access to domestic, regional, and global markets.

*Strategic Security* – safeguarding Uganda’s sovereignty and long-term interests.
