Katakwi District is currently experiencing floods which have affected thousands of people.
The floods have washed away some of the bridges,destroyed roads,houses.Schools,churches, health facilities have not been spared.
Ngariam County MP and Minister of State for Education and Sports(Sports),Hon Peter Ogwang has been carrying out assessment in the affected areas.The Minister ordered for remedial roads works to enable essential services to reach the affected people.
