KATETA SUBCOUNTY,SERERE DISTRICT – Serere District Woman MP Hon Abeku Hellen Adoa has taken her re-election campaign to the home subcounty of her opponent, Esther Acom, in a bid to consolidate her ground in the ongoing elections.
Addressing large and enthusiastic crowds in Kateta subcounty,Hon Adoa who is the Minister of State for Fisheries emphasized her track record of service delivery, highlighting numerous projects she has implemented in the district.

“This campaign is not about slogans and empty promises but about service delivery. My achievements speak for themselves and are clearly visible,” she told the chanting crowds.
The minister’s message resonated with residents, including Teddy Alayo from Kateta parish, who expressed her support for Adoa over Acom. “I know blood is thicker than water, but in this case, we are talking about service delivery, which Hon Adoa has ably done. I can’t gamble my vote for a non-starter like Acom,” said the 61-year-old woman.

Some of the key projects implemented by Adoa include free health camps, support for women and youth groups, education for bright but needy students, and assistance to fishing communities.
She has also supported schools, health facilities, and conducted barazas to engage with the community.

The minister campaigned for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as well saying the people of Serere District should for for the president in order to protect the gains.
“The NRM achievements are visible here,there operation wealth creation,Emyooga,PDM,free education for both primary and secondary,among others”, she said.
Adoa’s campaign is gaining momentum, with many voters citing her proven track record as a reason to support her re-election bid.
