MP Calls for Unified NRM Vote as General Elections Draw Near
By Our Reporter | Ngariam Focus
ANGOBO PARISH,NGARIAM COUNTY— A renewed political fire has swept through Angobo Parish in Katakwi Subcounty as Hon. Peter Ogwang, the MP and Minister of State for Education and Sports (Sports), urged voters to stand firmly behind the National Resistance Movement in the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking with the authority of a man seasoned by the storms of politics, Ogwang reminded voters that victory lies in unity — and unity lies in the bus.

A Call To Trust The Party Mandate
At a gathering marked by cheers and nods of approval, the minister dismissed claims by some defeated primary contenders who resurfaced as independents, insisting the narrative of rigging was “a total lie.”
“We were all subjected to the same competition,” Ogwang said. “Some won, others lost. But now some return as independents claiming they were cheated. That is false. Let us respect the voice of the people.”

Follow The Bus, Follow The Future
Hon Ogwang urged voters to remember one simple instruction on January 15, 2026 — follow the bus symbol.
“On the first table, tick the bus. On the second table, tick the bus. On the third table, tick the bus. Then go home and wait for your victory,” he said, drawing applause from the crowd.
He reminded residents that the same voters who shaped the primaries will shape the general election, and that only the NRM ticket guarantees continuity, stability, and development.
In Ngariam County, the name Ogwang continues to carry weight — a symbol of delivery, loyalty, and unshaken commitment to his people. As the political drums grow louder, many say the minister’s message is clear: with Ogwang, the bus moves forward — and Ngariam moves with it.
