OLELAI PARISH,ABARILELA SUBCOUNTY,AMURIA DISTRICT-The State Minister for Education and Sports, Hon. Peter Ogwang, has urged the people of Amuria to massively vote for President Museveni and the NRM flag bearers in the forthcoming elections. Hon. Ogwang made the call while officiating the thanksgiving ceremony of Fr. Daniel Oreot in Olelai village, Olelai parish, Abarilela sub-county, Amuria District.

According to Hon. Ogwang, keeping President Museveni in power will help Ugandans secure and protect their gains. “We need to continue with the leadership that has brought us development and stability,” he said. “Voting for President Museveni and NRM flag bearers will ensure that our progress is not reversed.”
The Minister specifically campaigned for Ediau Samuel, the NRM flag bearer for Amuria County, Magreat Etilu, the woman MP candidate for Amuria district, and Omiat Isaac Okello, the NRM candidate for the LC5 seat.

In addition to the campaign rally, Hon. Ogwang also took the opportunity to inform the public about the cattle compensation program for the Iteso sub-region, which has been put in place by the Office of the Prime Minister.
He urged the people to start registering for the program, which aims to compensate cattle owners who lost their livestock to cattle rustling and other disasters.
The thanksgiving ceremony was attended by prominent local leaders and members of the community, who praised Hon. Ogwang for his continued support and leadership. With the elections just around the corner, Hon. Ogwang’s message is clear: vote for President Museveni and NRM flag bearers for continued progress and development.
