Ningxia City, China – August 29, 2025 – Uganda has scored another milestone in the spheres of global diplomacy and academic excellence, thanks to the remarkable achievements of Dr. Opul Joseph, a distinguished Lecturer at Gulu University, Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Dar es Salaam, and Director of OPUL Skilling Foundation Africa (OSFA) and Quality Education Consultancy Ltd (QECL).

Uganda Takes Center Stage

At the prestigious *7th China-Arab States International Conference on Trade and Agriculture,* hosted at the *China International Conference Center in Ningxia City,* Dr. Opul represented both Uganda’s agriculture and tourism sectors as well as Gulu University, positioning the country as a serious player in the fields of innovation, trade, and knowledge exchange.

The conference, which attracted delegates from *70 countries*, provided a unique platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the forging of strategic partnerships.

In recognition of his outstanding contribution, Dr. Opul was honored with the *Award for World-Class Conference Presentation*—a testament to his eloquence, depth of research, and global vision. His presentation not only drew admiration but also cemented Uganda’s place in the international conversation on agriculture and development.
