Speaker Anita Among Urges NRM Structures to Massively Mobilize Votes For Museveni

The NRM 2nd National Vice Chairperson [Female], Anita Among has tasked the party leadership at the grassroot levels to take lead in mobilizing votes for President Yoweri Museveni and the party flagbearers.

Speaking to NRM leaders at the launch of the presidential campaigns in Iganga on Saturday, Among said the party will heavily rely on the NRM structures to canvass votes for President Museveni.

“The NRM chairpersons at the village level have a committee of 30 people. We want them to ensure that each of the 30 people bring at least 10 others to vote for Museveni. With this strategy, we shall have enough votes to win the election,” Among said, adding that the party structures will be fully empowered in the campaign trail.

This is the second day since Among kicked off mobilization meetings in Busoga sub region, having commenced with Namayingo, Bugiri yesterday.
