The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Annet Among who is also the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flagbearer has been dully nominated to run for the Bukedea District Woman Member of Parliament seat.
While declaring her, the Returning Officer, Bukedea District, Charles Joel Mugenyi said official campaigns begin on 10th, November, 2025.
Former Vice President and Speaker emeritus, Edward Ssekandi , State Minister for Education and Sports(Sports),Hon Peter Ogwang and many other MPs accompanied the Speaker the nomination venue.
